“The Sweet Lady with the Nasty Voice” is the unsung story of female rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Wanda Jackson.Few people know how rockabilly artist Wanda Jackson broke down the doors of the male-dominated world of rock ‘n’ roll. This indie film tells the little-known story of 70-year-old female rock ‘n’ roll pioneer through unprecedented access and original interviews with Elvis Costello, Patti Scialfa, Bruce Springsteen, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead, Slim Jim Phantom of The Stray Cats and others.The HD film has been picked up by Smithsonian Channel for American broadcast.
